Growing up in the small city of Prince George, British Columbia, Keilani learned the benefits of a strong sense of community, the power of positivity, and the value of hard work at a very young age. This classically trained, multi-faceted performer has been tenaciously working ever since - dancing, singing, teaching, choreographing, acting and modeling to accomplish her dreams.
Keilani began her life as entertainer before she could walk. Watching and learning the traditional family hula as she grew up, she has a strong connection to her background in Polynesian and Tahitian dance. Immensely grateful for the unconditional support she received from her mentors at Judy Russell's Enchainement Dance Centre, her repertoire now includes ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, theatre, and ballroom. She continues her creative exploration into the realms of acting for film and television and print modeling.
Keilani has performed live in many styles and venues internationally. She has worked on screen in the feature Bollywood film “Jatt and Juliet 2” as well as music videos for Sony’s Ash Koley “Brighter at Night,” Brock Zanrosso “Perfect Storm,” F*cked Up “Inside a Frame,” Incura “Who You Are,” Laurell “Girls” and Mariana’s Trench “Stutter.” After returning from a contract overseas as a Main Stage Performer with Disney Cruise Line Entertainment, she performed alongside Stef Lang for her Canadian Tour launch of the pop hits “Paper Doll” and “Mr. Immature.” Keilani has worked with the Lovers Cabaret as a feature soloist for The “Lovers of Zeppelin”, has appeared as a principal in a 2013 National Subway commercial, and as an actor on the Crazy 8’s short film ‘Happy Homecoming’.
Her international training includes scholarships to New York and L.A. with Pushing Progress, Alvin Ailey, the EDGE Performing Arts Center and the Millennium Dance Complex. She has recently had the opportunity to work with The Underground Circus, GSG Productions and Stiletto Fit, as well as company members from MOVE, The 605 Collective, and Ruckus.
Keilani loves encouraging little sets of feet. Teaching for numerous youth programs throughout the province since 2005 she has been featured as a guest workshop instructor in the lower mainland and central interior. Most recently she has been part of the faculty for the ballet program at Drive Dance Kids and is currently a faculty member with the StilettoEttes.
As a creative and performing artist she has a great appreciation for music, collaboration, and the human connection. Keilani is dedicated to sharing her passion for movement, entertainment, and art - uniting and empowering this generation and the next, world wide.
